David Raya: Raya Con Dios

[Buhry]

The save at 2.35 from semenyo was kinda insane I don't think there are many keepers in the world who react as quickly and get down to reach that. His reflexes are truly top tier.

[Dokaka]

Anyone noticed how you can literally see his confidence in himself compared to how he looked early days after signing? It's like he knows he's ****ing incredible and now he's just enjoying the hell out of it.

Yes, he carries himself like he is a million bucks. Brings so much calm in the defense with his presence. His pass to Tsolis with his weak left foot in the second half was out of this world.
I believe we will notice this with a lot of our players this season with the 22 years PL drought burden lift

[Squillaci]

Not enough praise can be said about this man. We wouldn't be where we are today without him. The best keeper in the world easily.

[boonthegoon]

World's best for sometime and keeps on proving it.

No one even comes close to him in regards to catching a ball. It's like he has a magnetic connection with it.

[Aubamabludclat94]

He was good but he’s been better. Could maybe do better with the goal? Kept rushing the goal kicks too and giving away possession, was pissing me off after a while

[Melquiades]

Has to be the best in the world. Nobody else can combine his level of shot stopping with his level of ball skills and distribution.

[pigge]

Crazy value this guy. Huuuuge steal for 30mil in hindsight!

[Mrs Bergkamp]

He had some mad play quickly moments but that save from Estavao was tops. Hope he gets another Golden Glove

[Yousif Arsenal]

Wasn't too happy with Rogers goal i felt he didn't jump quick but again its top performance after that very top save at the end from Estevao

[Buhry]

The goal he let in could maybe have been stopped but his cross claiming and the save from estevao for the rest of the game was great. He really is a great keeper.

[Malky]

He’s ridiculously good, comfortably the best in the world right now.
Need to try and get him to extend his contract here as he’s only got a year left by next summer.
Won’t be surprised if Madrid will be in for him.

[fabregooner]

Had a decent game but there was a period in the second half where he was too eager to restart play and continued giving the ball away and putting us under pressure.

[Mandersonian]

Consensus world number 1 if he started for Spain a few months back.

[TriniGunner]

It seemed like he received instructions to do that.

[El Duderino]

Yeah, the guy is elite.

If he had longer arms, he'd probably be the goat.

[Sapient Hawk]

Let's just call it like it is, Brentford got conned into the deal we made for him.

To be fair we gave them near 30M and for GK that bit expensive

For a keeper that was instrumental in us winning our first title in 22 years, it's a small price to pay considering what his colleague, Kepa cost before.

It’s small change for the quality we got. World class keepers are few and far between right now, and we signed the best for only £30m
Put that into perspective that guys like Onana were going for £50m+ at the same time!
Right now he’s better than peak Alisson was for Liverpool, and he cost £75m.
If we can win the CL then there’s an argument that Raya is our best ever keeper!
