Does anyone have faith that Edu will get the big summer transfers we all hope for over the line?

Vlahovic, Raphinha, Mudryk and now Moises Caicedo. It’s a worrying trend that he can’t seem to meet the clubs targets/ambitions.

Can't say this isn't a concern tbh. It'll probably depend on who our competition for the signings are. The issue is that we seem to have a strict policy of not going over a set valuation for a player and won't enter a bidding war, which is commendable tbf, but there are other clubs that are willing to be more flexible in that regard, which likely means we won't get that player.

With Enzo seem less and less likely really surprised Chelsea let Jorginho go even if they need funds thier option in midfield is laughable considering they spent 500M+. the issue for us we need also midfielders in summer so we can find ourselves competing with Todd again and i already had enough of him after this window.

I don't have concerns. All four players had other issues stopping them coming here; vlahovic and raphinha had their hearts set on particular clubs, and also when we not in the champions League and not guaranteed to finish there.

Mudryk we tapped up too much and pissed them off, plus perfect storm at Chelsea of losing all their left wingers all at once. Caicedo was beyond our control, they stated they would not sell.

We will be a big draw next season, the only champions league team from London and a club on the up.

I am 100% convinced we have done the right thing not completely overpaying, the next step for us is getting players desperate to join us and no one else meaning we dictate the price. Overpaying would have made that a longer more difficult transition.

2 hours to go really getting late for everything sorted they need to leave it until summer Benfica won't change stance they bought him 6 month ago he world cup winner. Chelsea should have gone for more realistic target this window. the last thing i read Benfica will let him go if chelsea paid 120M in 2 years so 60M a year.

I remember some United interest at least. And I think other clubs would have been interested in future windows, and UEL Arsenal would not have been that attractive vs. them. So they paid what Brighton asked to land him.

need to be done in May really just get him signed early can't go through summer chasing him it's straight forward deal. then rest of summer you can get right winger and another midfielder signing without much stress.
