need to be done in May really just get him signed early can't go through summer chasing him it's straight forward deal. then rest of summer you can get right winger and another midfielder signing without much stress.

It would be amazing if we could complete Rice signing before summer window even opens but I don't think you are even allowed to do that with contracted players? Like we could pretty much have the player onboard and personal terms provisionally agreed to via agents but nothing really happens until we start to negotiate with West Ham.

I don't have concerns. All four players had other issues stopping them coming here; vlahovic and raphinha had their hearts set on particular clubs, and also when we not in the champions League and not guaranteed to finish there.

Mudryk we tapped up too much and pissed them off, plus perfect storm at Chelsea of losing all their left wingers all at once. Caicedo was beyond our control, they stated they would not sell.

We will be a big draw next season, the only champions league team from London and a club on the up.

I am 100% convinced we have done the right thing not completely overpaying, the next step for us is getting players desperate to join us and no one else meaning we dictate the price. Overpaying would have made that a longer more difficult transition.

Whilst I can somewhat agree with what you’re saying, the alternative view is Edu has been targeting players who have us as second/third choice or can’t get a difficult negotiation over the line.

Hopefully with being a bigger attraction to players next season this will be less an issue. Should have plenty of funds available too.

i just don't get what will stop the players like Mudryk for example who earning 70K a week to ask for 170K if he preform well in 2 years? they won't stay 70K until 2030 i'm glad fifa put stop to this BS.
