Declan Rice: All Hands On Dec

Jokes aside, for what he brings to a team (and bar the Denmark game) feel he is having a decent tournament...his defensive work has been good, and he's being judged on things he doesn't do.

Main issue is he's playing for a crap manager, in a completely unbalanced team and with no proper midfield partner so far...would keep Mainoo next to him, still has some flaws but is the most rounded option to put next to Dec.

Will always rate and respect Xhaka for the trophies he won here and how he turned his Arsenal career around when it looked dead in 2019, but kinda hope Rice gets the better of him in the quarter final...feel the mocking of him has gone too far now and he needs a big game v a good team.

Funny how people rate Xhaka now that he's not here. Somehow Rice is **** because Xhaka is no longer an Arsenal player.

They are extremely different players and both elite. Some of us have always known.
They used to call Xhaka **** when he was an Arsenal player and would go weak at the knees at the mention of Rice. This forum's motto should be "the grass is always greener on the other side (except when I'm smoking it".

Ideal result from an Arsenal perspective is Saka gets a brace and Rice MOTM.

FT England 2-6 Switzerland

Pickford gets sent off giving away a last minute penalty, with Ramsdale coming on to save it and stop it being 7 (aka the Swiss player puts it wide) we are leaving this tournament with everything!

Stink Foden hat trick of own goals, sent off in the 32nd minute and watches his mum get beaten up in the stands, Walker after trying to shag the linesman gets institutionalised and Kane tears his ACL after slipping on a puddle of his own drool.

Do love how these former England players can’t let go of their club rivalries despite them always sayin that was the only thing ever stopping the “Golden Generation”

It’s not why they failed. It’s an excuse they love to hide behind. I remember when Romania comfortably beat them and sent them home. A lot of these ex England players are overrated

Oh fully agree but they’re too thick to even back their own argument.

Arsenal Quotes

When we won the league at Tottenham, they came back 2-2 in the last-minute of the game, and they're celebrating - because they're happy to draw against us, obviously. And I remember saying to Mauricio Tarricco who injured himself celebrating in front of me: "Do you realise we only need a point to be Champions?" And he was utterly shocked. So I said "Yes. Now watch as we're going to celebrate on your pitch. Bye bye!"
