Declan Rice: All Hands On Dec

Its simple passes close to the oppositions penalty area.
I know. My comment was sarcasm. All he really does is give sideway passes but when the sideway pass is 1m further than him then it's counted as progressive pass lmfao.

I don't think he was very good today tbf, kinda gone under the radar (seeing many on here lump the blame on 19 year old Mainoo instead lol). I do think Rice is better for club than country anyways.

Btw, I'm not sure why the Gilberto thing upsets you Rice does have vertical dribbling, goal scoring and set pieces over him

I don't think people are blaming Mainoo, rather the manager for being useless and Man Utd fans praising like Mainoo had an Euros like Yamal.

Rice is never a 6 and that's what Arteta also saw. You could say that we lost the title when we tried Rice - Havertz midfield. Rice could not bring the ball fast enough upwards while Havertz is not a midfielder.

Southgate kept playing Rice as a 6 as his tactics are totally different then Artetas. For us, Rice is a £100m player, for England he should not be playing. That's how much contrast there is (kinda like Foden).

I was more talking about here. Many were saying Mainoo was playing badly and whilst I agreed, I was also thinking wtf was Rice doing lol.

Maybe so, but looking at that England team and the options they got he has to play 6 there is no better option.

I don't buy into he can't play 6 either we've all clearly seen him play both 6 and 8 to a high level. For me when it comes to Rice it's really boils down to who his midfield partner is going to be.

He's a 6 but needs support during the build up, especially when the opposing team presses high. Playing Rice further forward in a 433 loses you something

Poor man's Coquelin, imo.

Both in terms of his ability, and his trophy haul.

Well, thinking about it there's not much difference between those 2

But Arteta signed Rice for £100m when we play possession football. Not smart management imo

Feel sorry for Rice tbh

Is this because I said Rice is possibly better than Gilberto?

If it would end these horrible takes I will take it back

Top deep down the rabbit hole here bro, tbh.

When Rice and whoever the **** his midfield partner is next season win a trophy, I will stop...until then 2015 Caz-Coq FA cup winning duo clear!

I don't make the rules, the silverware does 🤷‍♂️

This post reminded me Coq had support from Cazorla and Özil while Rice played much of the season with Havertz

The best midfield of the Emirates era was Ramsey-Arteta with Özil in 10
