Declan Rice: All Hands On Dec

It's funny how the Inter game played out. He'd have been useful mopping up all those balls we lost in the first 25. I hope he's fit soon. We need him to bench Merino.

A certain player who had similar flaws in his game that was also playing in a setup that didn’t make the most of his strengths was routinely insulted and had their intelligence question despite being much more talented.

In here it’s always Arteta or his LB/LCM being blamed.

Even in here there’s clear bias between Partey and Rice. They keeping quiet cause Partey is showing them up. But the moment he slips up. They will show up

100% sure he would have an assist yesterday with all the corners we had from that side. Martinelli or Trossard couldn't get a got cross in.

I would give Partey-Merino another game v Chelsea if Rice has a broken toe, feel they looked alright v Inter as a pair.

A broken toe as per Matt Law but apparently they intend to use him against Chelsea anyway. Not sure that's a good idea.
I played an entire high school season with a broken toe and put up R9 numbers. Nobody was paying me. Rice needs to take a painkiller and be a man.

There are literal stats that show we’re weaker defensively with Partey in as a 6 instead of Rice. All you guys have to argue that is emotional responses about English hype job etc.

Probably more to do with no defender wanting to mark the obviously insane and probably dangerous person wearing the full Batman costume every match, tbh...
I did play like a psycho tbf but an elegant one.

Yes the same stats that shows if we put in enough crosses it will increase our chances. Whatever Rice gives us defensively he takes back in general play. The stats don’t show that. With him in the middle you can forget about any clever combination play in the middle. Angles don’t open up with him. He’s just a dark hole on the ball

I know you love him. But he ain’t it

What has Partey given us in general play to make up for his porous defensive effort? We’ve barely scored goals the past month.
Positionally Partey is superior. Rice doesn’t read the game well and by all accounts a fairly dumb player. He runs a lot. Partey connected the midfield together yesterday while having Havertz and Trossard ahead of him. Rice don’t have that game understanding and would have left his position over and over

Inter barely crossed the halfway line.

He broke his toe?! Even our most durable players are falling like flies. Mikel Arteta got these boys in a gulag ffs.

Valliant effort today.

Broken toe and all. The lad is tough. Was he going to no-show? Never. He was out there with his plunger, giving 110% despite his injured little piggy.

Arsenal Quotes

I've got the best goalkeeper and the best centre half. All I need are the best wingers and the best forward. It doesnt matter what the rest are like.
