Noticed a bit of a shift in his game towards the end of the season after he dicked on Real Madrid.

Bold prediction time but I think he goes to another level this year offensively and will get 20 G / A in the prem, clean sweeping the individual honours whilst leading us to glory.
Well part of that was that we had no striker and a gimpy Saka so he had to get forward more to give us any sort of box presence but I think with the taste for goals and the way he was forced to step up as well as Zubi hopefully freeing both he and Ødegaard up to attack you may well be right about an explosion in output.

His assist numbers are obviously a bit inflated by being on corners (something he's excellent at tbf but it'll always add a couple over a season) but I definitely think he's capable of hitting double figures in goals in the league, especially if Ødegaard can find his feet again plus with the addition of Zubi etc.

I need to see at least 1 of those Free Kicks go in again as well.

Ødegaard left foot for lcm and rice right foot for rcm that is perfect

so they dont need cut inside when they want do something like shooting, line breaking pass etc and they can smash or pass ball immediately because the angle will favour their strong foot

This change set up and tactic will help us a lot to win the league next season, seriously

Ode being on the left could also do something for Martinelli if he's the starter at LW come start of the season.

Surely, he can't get worse than he is right now (Martinelli I mean).

@db10_therza and I have been trying to manifest this for a couple seasons now since seeing how effective Xhaka was on his stronger side.

Mikel doesn’t do experimental, sorry guys.

Yeah I’ve checked out of this conversation man lol, idk what’s got into these guys.

There’s no way they’re swapping, but I have a teeny tiny cope hope that they might be allowed to situationally swap for a little bit in game 🙏

Was watching old highlights of 22/23 and it's noticable how effective Xhaka was making those under and overlaps from L8 position being on his strong side. I wish we could even just trial this in pre season.

Good ball striker + space in and around the box + playing on your strong foot = something good

I think Rice could be devastating in that role as he also has the athleticism to make those under/overlaps, Ode not so much though.
