one of his strength is track back with pace to make ball recovery like this video

so when he play double pivot and has strength like that which mean arteta must give freedom to our attacker including allow attack through middle without worry lose ball because if our attacker lose ball in middle third or final third then we already have elite double pivot behind our attacker who ready protect them

If Rice was for sale every top club would be happy to take him PL especially.

Chelsea would take him back, MU without a doubt be a huge upgrade, MC 100% type player they are missing and yes Liverpool also.
I think we'd take 150m for him if this was the case but who knows?

Bow if you are the only one of that group to not win a trophy with your current club...

Probably his worst game for the club. Genuinely shocked, he’s usually a banker in these top 6 games.
this guy rice need sit deeper 6 role that is it, we get caught many times with transitions because zubimendi work alone,

arteta use rice play as left 8 in this game, so when we get caught in transitions which mean rice must track back run 1000 miles because rice stay higher up the pitch, so of course he will tired so bad and had bad performance

Their tactics today was just kicking it over our midfield and having the forwards go one on one with the back line. It worked for them but there wasn’t much defensive work for the midfield to do.

Thought he was slow and reactionary today. Even when he is not playing well, he needs to be a solid physical defensive presence and today I didn’t think he was.

Even if he's played deeper I don't think he connects with our idea. The core in possession principles don't match with his profile of player.

But your right, all on Arteta

Actually UTD midfielders and even once De Ligt, were running in the channels for free which he never covered.
