I don't even think he was great first half tbh. Made a couple of good tackles but going forward was average. Second half he was terrible. He looked clueless.

I normally don't criticise Rice given how good he is in everything else but the first half counter attack highlights why stylistically we are so bad when he is on the ball and that is why I will never put him as the best CM in the world. Any CM worth their salt would have picked Trossard out easily for him to score but he played a terrible pass and then the rest was predictable.

He is a great athlete, incredibly mechanical player but his lack of vision will always limit his whole game.

But this is why, unfortunately we as fans don't deserve to win the league or anything. Theres too much Dishonesty; Rice has negatively affected our performances for years now.

This is the moment I was talking about. Such a simple through pass to Saka or even an early ball to Trossard but he did the worst decision out of it. His vision is absolutely poverty

These 2 are overkill in the 6 position. we don't need both at the same time especially when you have a solid defense behind them but Arteta loves the extra defensive coverage. we need a more attacking / creative option in the midfield. Thought Eze was it but he's stinking it up.
