Seedorf was saying that Declan needs to stop being so nice and trying to share the ball in instances where he's capable of continuing one of those progressive carries where nobody can stop him. He's saying that he needs to have a bit more of that main character energy that Bellingham has, not that he's incapable of receiving the ball on the half turn or under pressure which is factually inaccurate.

I agree with Seedorf that he can get even better and it's weird how occasionally, he will drive with the ball and create a chance but more often he will drive forward and look desperate to pass it on. I don't think our fine margins tactics and a lack of pace help him either. For England, he should be more comfortable with Jude and Anderson beside him.

E your point about decision making. I guess fir me, Wenger's philosophy is ingrained and I can't really understand why a player would "step back" when they didn't have to.

He needs a long break after this WC, but that is a change I want to see next season.
