He’s the second most expensive midfielder ever. Some list has him 3rd with Caicedo being second. Would anyone say he’s even top 10 most talented midfielders?

I honestly dont watch at price of the players as that is out of my control. 100 m is a big peice for a dmc but Im not going to hold it against him all his career here.

Think Rice has overall been good signing and will be so in the future as well I think.

Ngl if I’m spending 100M on an English midfielder I’m expecting Gerrard, Lampard or Scholes.

Instead we’re just about getting a Xhaka replacement for what he offers.

He is fortunate Kai was signed in the same transfer window class. Kai has gotten the brunt for the price tag.

We overpaid for Rice as well. People thought we were getting a player the level of Rodri because Pep drove the price up with an offer he knew Arteta didn't want to get outbid for.

Arteta doesn't trust him as a 6. Partey would have been gone if he did. He'd rather have Partey or Jorginho there. 100 mil for a player, that should not happen.
