Arteta showing up at your house at night, playing your favourite love song like it's a 90s rom-com >>> Todd Bohley looking like Jabba the Hutt, trying to get you to rejoin a team that once sacked you and is nothing without their Russian oil money criminal.

Easy choice, tbh.

Heard the same thing from our ITKs. Apparently it was all sentimental stuff about "coming home" and **** like that, with them seemingly forgetting they unceremoniously kicked him out when they thought he had no value

Dec has always been very serious with his football and career so he wouldn't be swayed by that **** anyway even if it was presented well. There's a reason why he was impressed by Arteta who is also a very serious person when it comes to football, probably gave Dec the complete opposite of a sentimental hail mary when recruiting him.

Worried we were in for a stinker after he got bodied by Gakpo 😅

Recovered from that well though, showed a very good mentality...was just too physical for the Dutch in midfield.

Arsenal Quotes

Arsenal was firmly embedded in the local community and had a very solid, working-class foundations. The fans espoused the club's values. This visceral attachment, from childhood, to a club and a team is something I have never seen anywhere else with such fervour. Every fan's first match at Highbury was like a baptism.
