I understand you now. In reality we need both. We need someone to feed the striker but if we can't make a midfield signing, we need an Henry like forward who can create for himself or latch on to a through ball that any of our current players could make.

Not really having the "big six" record under him, we are just a more defensive minded team under Arteta so that set up suits the bigger games anyway...plus a lot of the big six teams have gotten weaker since 2023, what's our record like v Newcastle or Villa with him or in do or die cup games?

At the end of the day the club made a mistake signing him, especially for the money we did...Arteta miss-profiled/miss understood what he was (and didn't understand what Xhaka actually brought to the left midfield role skill wise, thought we just needed legs in there seemingly which was quite poor from the boss) and it has lowkey fu3ked us (not as bad as Kai did, but still not great)

We just have to live with it guys, he's not an elite midfielder 🤷‍♂️

That's a high word count for so much nonsense. We almost never lose the midfield battle and we aren't a defensive minded team. Pick any random game and there's a 90% chance that we dominated territory, had more shots and more possession. Defensive minded sides do the exact opposite of that.
