Reeling from Laca & Kos nightmares
The middle pic only has 3 top players - Sagna, RvP and Kos. Bottom pic has Auba, Ramsey, Laca, Nacho, Kos, Özil.

Then you have Gibbs vs Kolasinac, Song vs Xhaka. Bottom team is much much better.

Koscielny isn't a top player he's a f*cking liability, every time I see a clip of a really good goal against Arsenal Koscielny is always in the video getting humiliated.

Lol I’ve got to agree with this.

Not to mention the errors and red cards he got in big matches.

Still our best cb since probably Sol/Toure though.

Nah, individually Özil was better. His peak individual season here is something Ljunberg can only dream about.

You even pick Ramsey before Freddie, simply better players. I understand it though, you guys are swayed with the romance that surrounds a Freddie.
Freddie in 01./02 literally got us the double after Bobby got injured. Özil has never done anything of the sort

Almunia
Jenkinson - Djourou - Mustafi - Armand Traore
Gervinho - Denilson - Källström - Joel Campbell
Bentdner - Chamakh

Formidable worst ever XI. Doubt it can be beaten.
You obviously never lived through Vivas, Stepanovs, Luzhny. You could argue Mustafi has done more damage as he has played more then they did but if you're looking at ability, those three were pathetic.

Thought Luzhny was decent actually, will always remember him having James Beattie in his pocket in the 2003 FA Cup final

Stepanovs was the worst I have seen...according to Parlour's book, the main reason we signed Stepanovs was because Bergkamp and a few others were winding up Keown, about him coming in to take his place...and because Dennis was praising Igor so much, Arsène signed him

Didn't Adams nearly kill Vivas after the Leeds game in 1999 that basically cost us the league?

Ljunberg over Özil?
I was making a balanced XI. There’s no chance he gets in over Freddie at RM in that side.

But also, and as others have said, Freddie was the better player in an Arsenal shirt. Comfortably better, in fact.

You should watch the highlights of our 01/02
season when you’ve got a moment chief.

Don’t want to spoil too much for you, but a handsome swede leads us to the double before being voted PFA player of the year. It’s a good watch.

Luzhny was hopeless. This is why you keep making enemies.

It will also give him a hairstyle tip. That season was unbelievable. Pires goal at Villa, Dennis against Leverkusen and Newcastle and his skill against Juve, winning with ten against Liverpool, the title at Old Trafford. The Invincible season with the Champions league for the taking, was as anti climatic as sex with Riou in comparison.

Shame that this times will never happen again. That team, stadium, atmosphere, energy, players.

Looking at that Juve team brings back some memories of Italian football around those times. The quality was just so maddening that we built a damn good team on the back of three players who couldn't cut it there.

Now looking at Serie A is just depressing. Ciro Immobile and Luis Alberto taking it by storm.

Yeah, think that Seria A was in peak in those times.Milan was so damn strong and had top players on almost every position. With Juve and Inter played some quality stuff.Defence was their big advantage.

Well, that match fixing in 2006 ruined a lot of things in Italy.Who knows when they will back to their best again. They're behind Spain,England and Germany atm.

Caught the tail end of Luzhny’s time tbf but his awfulness wasn’t on show every week like Mustafi.
