He is a good player when he is on form, no doubt. He is knocking on a bit. He has also shown himself to be a bit of a plank. Read some article from Julian Laurens(think they took some qoutes from BBC), apparently problem is England for his family, not West Ham and he ll move only to Marseille, his family already moved, so dont think we are in for him at all.

You're probably right. I don't always believe players though, I remember Tevez saying he had to leave City because his family and he weren't happy being apart and he ended up somewhere in Europe with his family still in Argentina.

Yeah, he wants to move back to OM and his family is already back there. He is even taking a pay cut (around 30%) to go back.
WHU does not have much leverage there and they will have to let him go sooner or later.
