If they rated him so highly why not pursue him last summer?

We put Mount, Caicedo, Havertz and Rice before him.

It feels very typical of Edu/Arteta to want their new toy.

Used to like Villa back in the day until their fans for no reason at all started singing songs about Eduardo after he had his leg broken at St Andrews.

Something wrong with Brum altogether, not much other than lunatics and dickheads that little town seems to produce.

Because it's a city that really fumbled advantage it had from its historical size and wealth by offering absolutely nothing of cultural significance since Tolkien, unlike the two great northern cities of Manchester and Liverpool that have multiple international exports and continue to be amazing places.

Just spoke with Edu on the phone, confirmed no business in this January. We both agreed that for the chef to cook his best meal, it’s detrimental if he needs to run to the grocery store mid cooking.

Another mediocre 'prem-proven' player, what a shame. How about some scouting?
Agree, would be a good player but not worth the PL tax, I actually rate McGinn as the most underrated midfielder in the league, just watch the games it's he who gambles on the ball and takes them forward as Luiz and Kamara can pass but it's all a bit pedestrian.

Visited Birmingham once. It reminded me of the Cormac McCarthy post apocalypse book and film The Road. Everything dark, dingey and depressing except even worse as everyone had even less teeth and had brummy accents.

By far the worst place I've visited in the UK and I say that as someone who's been to Sunderland.

You do realize this makes him a perfect fit for Artetaball?

Isn’t that pretty much 90% of the UK?
