Welcome Diego Costa!

I didn't want to name names, but that's exactly what I was thinking. Arthur would also be a bit underwhelming, Ceballos-like. But at least we'll soon have Partey back, so his quality will matter a bit less if it's only a loan.

He's probably banking on Juve actually being good after turning over most their squad. They always end up winning after being bad for a couple of seasons, just how it goes at the Serie A.

imo he knows if he moves now, Juve will never be able to afford him from a club abroad. Worst case, they'll send Locatelli to Fiorentina and bully Fiore into giving them Vlaho via loan with an option to buy.

It's obvious we've had some indication he'd join, probably from his agent who's after that payday. His club is also open to selling, so it feels like the player himself would prefer to stay put.

What does he even want with Juve though, literally a dead club, this guy has Barclays in his blood, Haaland’s going City in the summer, he should be testing himself against the best,

Why would a war break out? The player has TOTAL power. This is a one way thrashing and Fiorentina are losing.

The players isn’t interested in Arsenal at all. Romana has told us this, spot on info.
What if Fiorentina just decide to let him rot on the bench as revenge for this agreement?

It would be a massive **** move to sign a secret agreement to screw your club and move to another for free in a few years time. Like you say though, football is full of ****'s, and this sort of thing does happen.
He actually has that kind of face and attitude... He looks like a prick. Probably laughing at everyone waiting for Juve while he looks his short knees.

It's mutually assured destruction though, what do they get out of that scenario? He can still leave in 1.5 years for free and they have to pay him in the meantime + they lose their stand out performer.

It's not like with Nketiah, where the player needs development minutes. Fiorentina have very little leverage over Vlahovic you'd think, unless they get the Sicilian's over...

They might be pissed that he's cost them a club record €60m fee. That could outweigh anything he does on the pitch since they're far from guaranteed European football with him anyway.

Could cool the market if they scare Juventus off paying him a huge wage after 18 months with no football.

If it would affect his bottom line he might be more motivated to leave sooner and they can recoup some sort of fee.

It's high risk but yeah totally freezing a player out could force a move. It could also get them relegated though and it's a pretty hard line to take.

They would be better off sacrificing some of their transfer fee to the player really in this situation? I guess that sets a dangerous precedent though.

It’s a zero sum game for them. They lose either way if they play him or they don’t.

If they can just about keep afloat next year freezing him out is possibly the only to get a sale done.

They already got his replacement isn't it? I think they are going to freeze him and his career is gonna be so average at Juve or at least until he reaches 25 or 26 maybe.

Dude just likes Italy. He's young, on the up and up and can lead the line for a team that cruises the league and just waits for the midweek champions league ties.

Food's good as well.

We won’t beg for any player to come here as if he is doing us a favor. In reality, he should ask himself if he is good enough to wear our badge and play in this league. Playing here is a major step up. Many have crashed and burned.

As I see it, we are on the road to greatness - you can feel it. This player will likely miss the opportunity.

If that’s the case feck him then. Juve are a spent force anyway. They’re never dominating again like they used to. We’re on the trajectory. If we continue making the right steps forward it’s arguably the most exciting project in Europe. We can also pay him and his greedy agent a lot more monies.

Not too fussed about this anyhow. Granted the club seemed dead set and loved Vlahovic. We coulda been together, Vlahovic needs to think about it. He ruined it now, I hope he can’t sleep and he dreams about it. And when he dreams I hope he can’t sleep and he screams about it. I hope his conscience eats at him and he can’t breathe without us.
