You have low standards for entertainment. You're basically buying the same game every year with only the number in the title changed. But of course, it's your choice.

Overall, I think we're living through the worst decade for gaming because people buy almost anything. As a result, companies don't put much effort into gameplay or adding meaningful new features. Microtransactions are at the top of their priority list.

The beta for 27 has been enjoyable. Silly season in 26 continues, but it is mindless fun at the end of the day.

The issue is that the August beta and September release are usually enjoyable. It's the first patch after the Timmies cry about the game being too hard that reduces it to the same AI defending carrying bums dumpster fire as the previous year that's the issue. It's a shame. From what I saw, last year's game looked like a real step in the right direction and then they killed it with patches to lower the skill gap.
