It's pretty interesting how good he looks playing from deep in the pivot sometimes when we're going all out attack. His passing from deep is really crisp and incisive and his dribbling means he doesn't panic when pressed. Subbing out Zubi and putting him alongside Rice a very good option to have when you're seeing all the ball and want to load more forwards on the pitch.

Think the fact that we're in and basically the favourites for 4 separate competitions on 9th March proves that the squad is very good as a minimum.

It’s genuinely wild. Every player match thread people hate all our attackers and Mikel's tactics and yet here we are.

He did really well particularly once Zubi came off. It might take Arteta doing some thinking and soul searching over the summer to tweak this system in order to get the most out of him and some of our other attackers on a more consistent basis but if he can just provide the moments and little performances within the game that we need a few more times, we'll win the league and maybe more.

He's our best offensive passer. Better than Ødegaard was even before because he can do it two footed. Has done so many great through balls this season.

Good performance yesterday. He’s improving now so we must keep him at 10. There are games where I’d drop Zubi or Rice and play Saka or Havertz with Eze.

Mostly game state imo but if you ask me, against most PL clubs at home we should be playing Rice at 6 with two attacking 8s ahead of him.
