He was fouled multiple times and they weren't called, including in the passage that led to their first goal.
Thats the league. Kai got hit from behind the exact same way as Sorloth did middle of the week vs Barca and not only did he not get a red, he didn't even get a foul

Nah the Barca one was way more of a clear red. Kai should have just kept running. Honestly one of the worst parts of this season is that PGMOL really haven't f*cked us to the extent they often do and that could still be lurking around the corner even if we did somehow play well enough to deserve to win out. For us to be in this position with nobody to blame but ourselves is really a shame.

Yeah, Eze has had a handful of good games otherwise he’s just a passenger that loses the ball all the time.

He really has surprised me. He is a mercurial player, a luxury player but not for a top top side imo. He's suited to be a big fish in a small pond like at Palace. Smaller teams where he can chill and have freedom to just do his thing.

He is a moments player. Has a great shot and can create something out of nothing for himself and others in and around the box. However, he is physically and stamina wise weird. He loses the ball a lot and disappears for long stretches in a game. Plus he looks weak physically on the ball, doesnt look secure on it all and is easily pushed aside.

And the worst is that his stamina is terrible. He can't play as a LCM or LW. Look at Bernardo and the yards he puts in despite not being a physical athlete.

Eze isnt even an old school 10 who can orchestrate attacks consistently and recycle the ball for us like Özil. If anything he is a support striker and a moments player.

Worth £65m? Naaaa cuz. But i wouldn't entertain selling him because he is one of the few players in the squad who has some tekkers and is able to create things out of nowhere.

Yeah thats the sad thing. Cant even blame PGMOL anymore.

Eze was the only brave player on the pitch. If everyone had the same mentality yesterday, we would have won.

Fantastic analysis. Will look out for more of your posts. Not often we get sensible takes on here. I can tell you are a football man.

Good chance you are correct, but he still showed more at LW than Trossard or Martinelli have for years, and has showed as much if not more at 10 than Ødegaard has in years as well.

Not sure how you conclude Eze has shown more at LW than Trossard or Martinelli when he has 6 appearances there this season and only 1 assist. Eze right now looks like a sidegrade from Nwaneri last season and solves none of our issues.

His best is inside the D. Get the ball to him inside the D and let him ball. If he loses the ball so be it, just make sure we have cover. The more he touches it in the D the more dangerous we'll be.

It's flair over function! They see a bit of flair and even some ball progression and equate that with creativity. It's nonsense and it's just wrong!

That's why most fans were "pissed" when he got subbed off against City, they say he was "our most creative player". No he wasn't! He literally didn't create anything! That's just the bits and pieces of skill/flair he showed that's talking. It's ridiculous to put it politely.

Football isn’t played on a calculator. Eze is a much more talented player than either of them, and that was on display against City.

Trossard and Martinelli have been stinking out the gaff for years now. Eze solves the issue of not having to have either of them on the pitch every minute.
