Didn't someone say Palace fans call him Spring Eze. He only starts to cook towards the end of the season.

I reckon he takes this season to adapt while producing key bits of end product and silk, next season he cooks

new club, new role, he will show his quality eventually, he's too good not to, i'm not worried about him at all, I think we won't start to click properly until december/january as a team, we have quite a few new moving parts it will pay off as long as our team structure is sound and our foundation solid, which it is at the momment.

He has the quality and ability to do much better and he needs to step up. This is the big leagues we are going for the title we can’t be having our playmaker do so little in such a big game.

I mean he’s been ok, new club, new settings, new expectations etc. Him not flourishing is a deeper issue at the club, I would say Saka aside, no attacker has looked great under Mick.

Was on Vinai's payroll; misses 4th place trophy 🏆
Like our players yesterday poor 1st half but better 2nd half should done better with the opportunity he had to shot.

Imo Arteta need to give him more freedom to use his dribbling and flair look like we kinda limiting him

Need that yawn reaction back.

Even at his best he’s a slow starter, spring Eze has always been a thing. Secondly, new position, new club, new role etc etc.

I’m not sure what the expectations are here tbh, is it just a case of looking for someone to blame?

Yeah. I'm not worried in the least.

He's not a non-entity like Simons. He's trying to apply himself. Things aren't just working for him currently. But the tree will bear fruit.

Not concerned by him in the slightest. He is one of a few players who gets shots off every game, he is always in the right spot to shoot, he just needs to stop hitting them straight at the keeper. He could easily be on 6-8 goals for us so far.
