From Arteta's POV I think Trossard is behind Jesus for that central position. Trossard did a really fine job as well playing from there to the point where he could rival Jesus for starts throughout this season.

Eddie got phased out from around February onwards as far as starting. Don't think there's any reason to believe Balogun would be ahead of Trossard or even Havertz either, even if he stayed, based on what we've seen so far.

There is a need for a high quality 9 to compliment Jesus. He will not play at a high level unless he has sufficient rest for his knee between appearances.

If we could sell Eddie and Balogun for a solid profit, we should, and then purchase better, starter level quality. Not sure what is available.

I suggest gift orban. I would also like the kid to teach Jesus how to shoot

I hope Eddie can stay and fight for his place. With his calibre plus possible CL minutes/goals, his market value will rise further more. An previous example is Iwobi, his 30M transfer fee was a good deal given his appearances in PL & CL.

If we can get 34m for Eddie we'd be doing well. Stick in a sell on clause for good measure.

Its inivitable he leaves. Its not just Jesus infront of him. Trossard down the middle and Martinelli on the left is a better option. Whether its this season, or next, he is leaving.

Brewster wasn’t earning 100k pw. Your analogy is wrong again.
You're still missing the point. The point was that Nketiah can be sold easily for profit even with 100k per week contract if you compensate by demanding less than his market value.

Take a look at the wages ArsenesCoatMaker shared for attacking players in EPL. Nketiah's level HG striker, who has made England U21 scoring record, is expected to earn 70k+ per week. So if you compensate that 5 year deal for 8 million, the other club can afford the wages. Looking at those wages, Palace might be willing to pay him even closer to his current wages than 70k per week.

It doesn't matter what sum Arsenal sell Nketiah for, it's instant profit. Even if 5 million. Do you think a club would buy HG striker like Nketiah for 5 million with 100k per week? It's 99,99% sure imo that they would. They would pay even more.

Do you get it now why the extension was wise, to have a "free" backup striker, to give a chance to own youth, and to sell for profit later if needed?

Sell Balogun and Eddie for around £75 million, use the money to buy Tchouaméni when Madrid put him up for sale later on this window.

You know it makes sense!

Good luck finding a club who are willing to spend 20+million to buy Eddie and then had him a contract of 100k or more. This isn't Football Manager I'm afraid.
