They create so many chances so fancy him to get numbers. It’s annoying and another Edu blunder because we should be making bank off him.

Ornstein article at the time said that we were keen on sending him to Leeds due to Vinai’s good working relationship.

If we only gave him the Bristol City option he’d have to take it.

They had audition for proposals and Leeds was convincing plus Nketiah had big picture of himself.

You don't make the player unhappy for no reason when both proposals and promises are good.

I kept saying in the summer he was making huge mistake. A lot of young players how their career pans out has a lot to do with timing. Moving to clubs at the right time and getting minutes early. Brighton are screaming for a goalscorer. His people should have seen the window that opened for him at clubs like brighton last summer

I just don't know enough about what's going on behind the scenes to judge whether he, the Arsenal or Brighton/West Ham made the mistake. Maybe he has pushed all summer to leave, I don't know.

Seemed likely for a while that he would go to Crystal Palace, which would've been a very decent option as well. Benteke is definitely a striker with whom Nketiah could compete for a starting spot.

But yeah, a lot of youngsters make the wrong choice at the wrong moment only to disappear into obscurity.
