Just sell and forget.
Nketiah played as many as 107 minutes in the second half of the 23/24 season in the Premier League.
Cedric, for example, played 59.

30 million pounds for Nketiah is a great deal.
Can't see Marseille pay that tbf.

West Ham need a striker! Why don't splash your money on Nelson & Nketiah?
Combi deal for like 45 a 50 million!

News from a french media L'équipe, it says that Marseille wants a loan with a option to buy, as they did for Brassier and Hojbjerg. I guess Longoria is trying to negotiate and adding some bonus. Marseille is also expecting some sales (Sarr maybe in Crystal Palace, Veretout (AS ?), Gigot (France, Turkey, AS ?), Pau Lopez) .

It is also said that De Zerbi would want Hwang Hee-Chan, but I don't think Marseille can buy Nketiah and Hwang.

I stay optimistic because Marseille and Arsenal have a good relationship now.

I like Eddie, don't want him to go to Marseille to play with that Manc piece of sh*t. Likewise don't want him to go to stinky West Ham, they'll probably try skimp and stop paying after the first instalment again.

Should be on the phone to Palace, Glasner is cooking up a mazza. The other two will get relegated inshallah

Mikel… Is this real?

I have no idea why a club would accept a loan with an option, tbh.

All that means is another team get a "free" player for a season while they don't take up the option, while you are just giving away a year of his contract and might have to renew him to stop him leaving for nothing...terrible for the selling club.

I think I did not use the correct word in English, the option is an obligation, it's a loan but they buy officially the player one year after, it was the same process for Guendouzi.

It's usually done if the player is on huge wages. Loan club pays his wages for a season and if he's a good fit they get the option to keep him for a (theoretically) below market-value price as a "reward" for taking on his wages in the first place.

It's basically the last option before just tearing up the contract.
