Eurgh Willian 2.0, sod this even though I doubt theres any truth in it.

Hazard is reportedly on £416,000 until 2024, no way is he walking from that, the only way he ends up back in the PL is on loan which is a massive risk when a player just wants to pick up his wages and has no motivation.

This has Newcastle written all over it. We have learned our lesson regarding signing washed players.

Football journalist must be such a cruisy job. Literally cannot think of a big name we'd be less likely to sign.

Funny how DaGunners of all people got this one right and Clrnc and Klaus didn't  double credit for having to do his YouTube scouting by torrenting matches.

Back in them days it wasn't like with you youngins who check a Scoutnation clip or a FUT database to act like you know a player, you'd have to search through ****ty kazaa links stumbling on the same old disgusting porn clips trying to find some footy to watch. And you'd have to walk back uphill on the way home too ffs.

I don't know why I very vividly remember his "Imagine a less selfish Ronaldo" statement, what and odd thing to remember.

Wouldn't be adverse to a loan. Similar was said about Coutinho and he is doing grand at Villa.

Loan = no long term risk with potential short term reward for all parties (especially with a WC in November)
Purchase, no chance. Too much investment for the return.

All depends on the finances really.

We’re building a team full of hard workers and pressing players. If we’re loaning or buying experienced players, they’d better have that work ethic. We can’t take a step back from the great culture that is being built.

At one time I'd have thought this was a dream transfer. Today it would feel like a surreal departure from what appears for be a clear and effective policy.
