I agree and disagree. In the case of Salibah it made sense to buy a potentially 80m player for £30m as we don't have anything special at CB or much potential emerging.

We have some of the most exciting young Cms in the league. We can't offer this kid starts, so why would he leave?

Would be nice to sign a super talent for once instead of Sanogo and Guendouzis of this world. There is room for him too. Ceballos will probably go back. Özil on his way out in next two years(he will be 18 then). Xhaka straws are getting fewer and fewer with each passing game. Torreira might feel he play better in Italy or Spain after 2-3 years here...
