I've always felt our teams between 2000 and 2005 were much better than Man United, hence should've won more than 2 titles

Should have won 3 leagues in a row, 2002-2004...then won the Champions League in 2006 to complete the set.

We were very successful in that era, but should have still won more.

Naw in all honesty we should've won the UCL in either 03 or 04. We got knocked out by JOHN CAREW and WAYNE BRIDGE

Carew was a very good striker, tbf.

Wasn't it your boy Vicente, with the game winning assist in 2003 too

1999 too.

In this match.

Alan Smith goes studs up on Winterburn, ref doesn't do anything and Adams goes mental...so the next chance he gets, Tony elbows the **** out of Smith's face when both are going for a header.

Adams' stands there like Balotelli, while Keown tries to fight 2/3 Leeds' players on his own, in the resulting melee.

No red cards were given...better times for football, imo!

Watched a video of three Arsenal players foul Roy Keane with late-ish challenges, but because they all went over to apologise and help him up he just let it slide due to respect. Of course there was fights and stuff too involving Keane and our players but there was also the respect between most of them too.

Think we should revisit Zaha again. I wasnt sure because of his age, but the fact he's 29 is a reason why we should get him. He's tall, athletic, powerful, skilful, good goalscorer, a leader, premiership proven, 12 months to go in contract, big Arsenal fan. Great player for Martinelli to learn from as well.

No man forget him. He wouldā€™ve been perfect in 2018-ish but move on

Itā€™s easy to see what we need, knew it since start season, nothings changed:

Weā€™ve 4 good defenders, but need backups, soares is not good enough, maybe a stronger leftback?

Midfield, Xhaka is not good enough, elneny is nowhere near. Partey is injury prone. Need two starting midfielders.

Attack: aubamayang was talented, but didnā€™t understand attacking tactics, defensive pressure, buildup play. Laca isnā€™t good enough. Pepe is toast. We need two starting attackers.

We need 4-5 to compete, expect 3 starters, which mean we ride our luck.

City, Liver and Chelsea still much better squads, hope Sp**s, newcastle, and united donā€™t buy too well, but weā€™re getting closer, luckily we have a good coach :)

I was never a massive fan like some were on here, certainly not at the figures that were being branded about. But this season has shown more than any other you still need experience at certain points of the season, and this is a good opportunity to get someone that would fit really well for a much more reasonable price.

He has that combination now of experience, dynamism, athleticism & trickery we lack in the forward areas at times. If we are struggling to convince the likes of Jesus then try Tammy & Wilfred.

Hoping for Leeds to go down today, tbh.

Nothing personal against them, just think Kalvin Phillips would be perfect for us, so them being relegated would make it easier to buy him.

Think it will be harder than people think to replace Xhaka in our system, the players we have bee linked with don't convince me.

The role we use Granit in, Philips was absolutely superb in it for England during the Euros...while for his club, I think he plays the role we use Partey for.

So we can keep Xhaka (no point giving him away for little money, our squad is small enough as it is) incase Partey's injury issues remain next season...and sign Kalvin, as he can play with both of our midfielders equally well.

Think Partey, Philips and Xhaka would be 3 very good midfield options.

Adding to this...just realised that Roma haven't qualified for the Champions League, go all out for Abraham too, would be perfect for us.

Not sure how much we will have to spend, but a new starting CF and CM are absolute musts above everything else.

Tammy and Kalvin, time to go full Brexit this summer again!
