I like Kudus but I want a top LW. We won’t sign both. Marti would need to have a top season to convince me we don’t need a LW.

Kudus can give elite depth though. RW, AM.

I had this discussion the other week regarding Semenyo though, would someone come here to hold the bench? Because Kudus operates in the areas of our 2 main stays, Ode and Saka.

We should keep Trossard. His game isn't built on pace, so he should be a great squad player into his 30s.

Well depends where we are at then tbh. Injuries etc. If we are in similar position we were in last year, another attacking addition would certainly not be a bad thing. There is a likelihood we will be in the mix for both PL & CL & maybe even a cup ?

After having a net spend of almost zero in the summer, I'm sure the club would give Teta some cash if the right player was there.

He wanted Kudus before he went to West Ham.

I agree with this apart from 2 CM. I think it could be just one. We'll have Ode, Rice, Merino, plus the emergence of MLS & Nwaneri will be even greater next season. We have seen also that Trossard can be effective in MF. There is a lot of interchangeability amongst all those players too...

I still think he wants a Zubi type profile, a playmaking 6.

If both lads can get in then just one i agree, Zubi would be awsome. Its 50/50 though, if he'd come. We need 6 players for midfield, so lets see what happens.

Edit: Just realised this is Jan thread, I was thinking about summer. I don’t think we need anyone in Jan, if a trossard like opportunity comes up then sure but there’s no desperation.

We need both quality and quantity. Need a back up GK. Two Oap's in midfield expiring. Jesus is done, Sterling will probably return. Question marks over Martinelli, Trossard contract situation also.

Yeah but by the summer I fully believe Nwanweri and MLS will be fully ready to step up into midfield. We still need one more body tbf but it can be a young prospect type, doesn’t need a big investment.

Assuming we buy a top top left winger, then Martinelli becomes our rotation there and it doesn’t matter if Sterling goes back. Thinking about it we need a striker as well actually and Jesus needs to go. Let’s hope that gentlemen’s agreement for Sesko is actually legit.

Idgaf about our keepers. We prob need one but I’m not listening.
