Not necessary, Boros side that went down had Ravanelli, Juninho and Emerson. Fulham that went down this past season had Serri despite being to alot of top teams such as Barcelona. Kinkladze with City. Di Canio with Wednesday and West Ham (he turned down an offer from Utd during this time). Carbone when he joined Wednesday or when he turned down Napoli, Everton and the chance to replace Rui Costa at Fiorentina to join Bradford City instead. Lombardo at Palace is another example.
Add Andy robertson to that list, he played for hull who got relegated.

No need to sell Torreira, especially for a loss. If we go back to the 4-2-3-1, which Emery seems to favor, he can work wonders.

I doubt Torreira actually said that, must have been lost in translation.

Torreira was a key player for us in the first half of the season, if you dont see that you are blind. I want to see more of him.

He had a poor second half of the season because of the physicality of the BPL and our reliance on him. 3421 really didnt help him at all, was more isolated.

Coquelin was a key player for us in 2014/15, that didn't stop Arsenal fans from wanting him to be replaced. And ATM it is hard to argue if Torreira's passing is that much better than Coquelin's.

Torreira basically had the same season as Mustafi did when he first joined us. And when there was talk of Wenger wanting Mustafi sold everyone here laughed at that idea as being ridiculous. Emery, Raul and co should have a better idea of what Torreira is like behind the scene and whether he's going to settle into our team.

Just read that Real Madrid have signed all their new players before July as it counts as 18/19 expenditure. That’s also why they haven’t sold anyone yet so they can spend even more next month/August.

Same is obviously happening here, bar the signings in June. Lovely stuff.

Praet
Andersen
Saliba
Carrasco
Schubert

Most consistent and trustworthy rumors list. Actually not too bad of a list considering all things.

Edit: Forgot about the new Alexis.

Happy apart from Andersen and Praet. We can do better. If we are going for a ball playing centre back alongside Saliba then someone like Kounde or Sarr makes more sense.

Also want someone who can dribble and pass in midfield with athleticism. Why are we not after someone like Golovin? He has been played out of position for an entire season. He can dribble, shoot, pass, tackle and is fast.
