Fully agree, and if we're buying hungry players from clubs such as Norwich and Brighton that will be a change from signing 70m players from Ligue 1 or OAP's from Chelsea. For some players we may well even be stepping stones, to buy and sell with good profits, a bit more like Leicester for a season or two, but that's what we might need to accept until there is a change in club ownership.

Arteta will be ruthless and get great support from the owner and a significant budget this summer if we are supposed to believe him. So:

No fvcking haggling.
No "Arsenal are preparing their third bid" repeated every day for two weeks.
No "Club X isnt happy with the Gunners offer".
No penny-pinching.

But we all know that this is exactly what we will get.

That's called the media. You're going to get that no matter how far along a deal is. We don't know what's actually happening at the end of the day.

Then the club better prepare for serious venom when fans are back.

I'm not stressed because I know our fans will lay down the law when **** goes back to normal.

The club cannot hide behind bullshit any longer. Something will give.

Nah you’re seeing it already with the deluded. A few rumours about big spending and they’re all looking the other way. As long as people get new toys to play with they don’t care about Teta or KSE.

Also the club already knows the situation next season, at least it has clarity about things now. Absolutely no reason why they shouldn't already be getting business done. Shouldn't be leaving things late like last summer.

Feels like it would be different this time.

Sure, people night be momentarily excited after making a couple of really good signings, but as soon as the ****ness that is Artetaball rears its ugly head in one of the first games back...

Bang on, and the only person doing the big spend talking is Mikel himself. Sounds like a man whos trying to get the fans on his side again thinking they'll give him more time because he has better players. It's ridiculous.

This is the thing, people forget very quickly in football. Once the dust settles and this season is over youll see a lot of people reset their opinions and give Arteta the start of next season. Especially if we have a good summer window.

I don’t get it. A club like Arsenal should have a coach who’ll overachieve and improve players. If the plan was for us to get a coach who needs big money to succeed we should have just got the ultimate bully in Mourinho.
