Kronke investing sounds perfectly reasonable given the situation they find themselves. Firstly they need to win back fans, if they have intentions of selling with the super league proposal being shut down, then they need to increase the value of Arsenal so they can get more, which spending 200m, if spent wisely could make Arsenal more valuable. But more than anything they can't afford to do nothing as its only hurts the value of Arsenal, which hurts them whether they intend to eventually sell or have zero intentions of selling. While if we are spending 200m, 100m of that could easily be from sales so their investment may only be 100m which is far more than they have ever invested but something that the likes of City and Chelsea receive annually from their owners.

Should also factor in that if we make a heap of sales and get rid of a heap of salaries and only replace the outgoing players with one big salary for someone like Grealish then our wage bill for next season will be nowhere near the current wage bill.

So is this rumoured £200M investment before player sales? Or have they worked out possible income from player sales and KSE have said they'll invest what's needed to take our potential spending to £200M?

Not surprised the squad need to be sold mostly 30 players including the players out on loan we don't need that playing only in PL and fa cup.

Bum City will remain full of bums when Bumteta refuses to sell bums like Elneny and Lacazette.

Honestly last few summers we always told we got 40-50m budget despite qualify in Europe we end up spending alot more lol. Would be funny now they say we'll spend 200m and end up only spending 50m.

Elneny and Holding are likely staying as squad players they can stay Lacazette is leaving no rumors about us extending his contract

Why do our plans always have to depend on something, every year. They depend on where we finish, depend on player sales yadda yadda yadda. Just go out and do the deals early, we know we're not playing in Europe next season, we should have appropriate targets already.

If you're depending on player sales you could be waiting all summer.

Because imo our squad always been big and very unbalanced not to mention the wages they in until we fix that every summer will be same even if we have 200m we need to sell before buying so we can avoid breaking financial rules.

Yeah the wage bill is a huge huge problem, need to get Laca off it. Our 4 highest earners are Auba, Partey, Willian and Laca. If the club really wanted to rebuild financially, it wouldn't have given contracts to Partey and Willian, and Auba and Laca would both be leaving this summer. The wage bill would be drastically reduced, but we're stuck in this vicious cycle of high wages.
