Left Back links are coming on strong now - probably unsurprisingly suggests that Nuno is done here under Arteta.

This is my line of thinking as well... Lots of focus on strikers but bringing in Tielemans and Bissouma for £50m would give us some excellent squad depth next season in midfield.

Biss is a really good player - Brighton fans consistently rank him as their best. I think overall Phillips would be slightly more useful but for around £25m Bissouma is a mega bargain.

What's he in the dock for though? I guess that's the key question...
Bissouma is likely 35m. Excellent player who absolutely strengthens our squad. I fully expect Arteta to miss out on the player again since he may not be the perfect saint. Arteta likes his players docile.

Think it'll finish me off if they get Bissouma. Aston Villa is the name I'm hearing the most though when it comes to him. Kamara and Bissouma could be very interesting. Ultimately there must be players out there of the profile we could get to mitigate a Partey injury. It looks like such an obvious weakness that needs strengthening to me. As long as we do something there I'm not too fussed, Bissouma just looks made for it though.
Precisely. Bissouma is a little lazier, but faster.

Bissouma is a great player, I would love him to replace Partey if he were to leave. However I wouldn't want both of them as they are too good to be rotate with each other and I doubt either would accept that role.

They have scored 5 goals in 160 odd appearances between them so playing both together doesn't help our lack of goals in the team one bit. We need someone who is going to get 8-10 goals from central midfield in my opinion, we've been missing that player since Ramsey.

I wouldn't want him to go to Sp**s though as he would be perfect for their 343 formation where the midfield is designed to be solid and let the front 3 and wing backs be the attacking threat.
Why would they rotate?

Remember, we lost Auba and now Laca, Eddie remains and keeps his position. We need to cover those losses, so I expect both Laca and Auba to be replaced. I hear what you are saying though, we may not have the budget to cover both.
The concern would be that Eddie would not sign if he is not at least #2.

Why would they rotate?
My point was that they wouldn't. Both are too good to rotate and I don't think either would accept a rotation role.

We were the 6th highest scorers this season, 8th before the 5-1 against Everton on the last day. I don't think playing 2 players together who have 5 goals in 160+ appearances helps us in any way to address that.

Can't rotate them, can't play them together, move on.

Not too fussed about this to be honest. Looks a good player but it's not a priority position and we've got talent coming through.

Well I’d say it’s pretty important to replace Cedric with someone capable. But I guess that depends on whether Cedric has any suitors himself.
