I agree about the lack of patience and it is definitely a balancing act. I didn't understand the Nwaneri criticism at all. If the kid is tearing it up in the academy, reward him.

So you're saying Arteta - who will do ANYTHING to shoehorn his players, tactics, etc. despite fans questioning him - is cautious with a young player because he's afraid he'd get "canned?"

He didn't get canned for giving Patino his debut by the way - he got canned because we played like **** and the rest 10 players were no better than Patino. Nwaneri was just an outrageous and political move. If it weren't, we'd see him get a minute here nad there in the rest 30+ games we played that season.

He just doesn't trust young players and he doesn't trust himself. Whenever he tried to rotate more than 3-4 players his system fell apart, youngsters or no youngsters.

I know it mean nothing but look we not going to add anybody else reading what edu is saying. they clearly don't want to spend another 40M and as we seeing loan market is poor.

but it's risky to go with short defense depth plus Partey RB. seem White Partey Tomi and Zinny will play fullbacks and Saliba Kiwi Gabriel and also White will play CB.

that what i meant we got Jorginho who can be very reliable cover but Zinny Partey and Tomi seriously difficult to trust them specially they have now to play CL ball in midweek. i would have liked extra defender just in case but who we gonna get? they clearly not want to spend 40M on another Timber and loan market is very poor there few good players around but they'll only get guy who will add something not ruling anything out
