Will we sign an attacker before the window closes?

Just musing about if Ødegaard had to miss a game *now* through injury, I would much rather Bukayo play in his role than anyone else.

Yes it would work really well for us to move Saka inside since we have such good cover for the RW position.

…oh wait…

(Ps I know what you saying though dw)

We'll try to get him imo.

Feel like this guy is the DM version of the Raya signing. Kind of questioning why he a highly sort out transfer target as their is nothing overly flashy or standouts about his game but he is reliable and reads the game incredibly well. A player you likely don't appreciate until he plays for you and you watch him week in week out.

In saying that I still feel the midfield lacks the profile of a Gundogan/Macalister type.

Rodrygo extended 5 months ago, and has contract until 2028. I see it much more likely they sell a worse player in Diaz for example, who has 3 years left.

It's not like they have a huge amount of attackers if Joselu returns from his loan. Rodrygo has played 3rd most minutes for them this season. Why do people assume Real wants to worsen their team for laughs?

Leao, Isak, Šeško, Zirkzee, probably in that order for me.

But we have to add a winger as well. The dream would be Rodrygo, and yes I would still take Mudryk for a good price.

League is very weak
Isak is now the clear pick for our striker. Nobody even comes close. He’s better than everyone, he’s proven, he’s well rounded - back to goal, tight spaces, link up, height, pace etc.

Newcastle need the cash and sale so 100M should do it.

Other options are full of doubt despite costing massive fees.

Getting a Brazilian to move from Madrid to London would also be a challenge

Even better. Diaz plays on the right naturally

No one is equally good on both wing. Every winger has preference and eventually will use the excuse of playing on wrong side. He plays on the left for hull
He also plays on the right for Hull and has done regularly for the entire season. He literally plays on both wings and he can use his weak foot. It's not a throwaway, it's what he's been doing. Peruse any of his highlights and you'll see an equal amount of footage on either wing.
