Tbf it wouldn’t surprise me one bit but that sort of move definitely sets us back and I’m sure Gabriel is a bit similar to Xhaka as I really can’t see him sitting around on the bench as he fully knows his worth. There will be a host of top European clubs after him imo.

Last season the club got quite fortunate as losing Xhaka and Gabriel together in the same window would have raised some serious questions. All of that to shoehorn Partey at RB

Not disagreeing at all, I’ll be really disappointed if we break up Saliba/Gabriel as we’ve not had a CB pairing like them in a long, long time.
Again we’ve no idea what Arteta is planning, however I don’t think the system he was trying with Partey at RB is dead an buried, it failed because Partey struggled to adapt and hasn’t got the fitness. Kimmich, however, is the perfect fit.

if only Arteta eye of talent is good offensively we'd be best team in world. if we sign Calafiori our defensive line will be even more better considering we gonna have Timber fully fit.

What have Saliba and Gabriel done that will hinder us from winning trophies? Blaming the partnership that has been only built for the two years that we have challenged for the league is absolute nonsense.

Improving on a CB partnership is not that easy, it’s not FM or FIFA. Partnerships are built over a period of time and it’s probably one of the areas on the pitch that it isn’t wise to keep on chopping and changing players.

Mate he’s obsessed with that stupid line up where we had Partey inverted RB, Ben white CB and Havertz ‘top of the diamond’.

That approach to recruitment had us in 0 title races until the final day with 0 reason to believe we’d win the title after a summer window.

We need to focus on improving everywhere and left back is one of those areas.
