Already congratulating Man City on their 5th straight title. We're finishing 3rd this season
I don't see us doing a lot worse than last season even if we don't sign any more players.
Problem is last season we were lucky with injuries - Ode, Saka, Saliba, Rice especially. If any of those four miss more than a month our season is over because we have zero backups for them.
Only can see Partey getting any offers from Saudi. They only go for relatively big names or at least someone whose name has some weight. They ain't signing Brazil's 20th choice CF, a permacrock they don't know of or some random british goalie they have never heard of.Why is it that we are never able to offload to Saudi? Jesus, Partey, Tierney, Ramsdale, ... should all ne going to Saudi
This guy ain't leaving seem we have to sacrifice kiwi
Tell me you're an ABBA fan without telling me you're an ABBA fan.
People get annoyed when Musiala's name is mentioned here but I think there's some valid logical reasoning for why it's not out of the question for Arsenal to sign him.Rabiot would be an even more astute signing than Merino due to the cost. But in terms of squad harmony he might be the last thing we want.
I’m really dissatisfied with the quality of forwards and 8’s in Europe. Now Nico is pretty much confirmed as staying who do you really go for?
It all comes down to whoever gets Musiala down the line.

I talked about this in the Wishlist thread about why I think Musiala would be a perfect fit in this Arsenal squad, but I'll elaborate a bit more:
Why would JM want Arsenal, especially over Man City?
- He's a dual citizen, he spent most of his childhood in/around London, played for England U21s and Chelsea academy in his youth before choosing the German national team and BM.
JM: "I have a heart for Germany and a heart for England. Both hearts will keep on beating. It is difficult to find words for what England means for me because I have so many memories connected to very positive emotions."
- The pull of Arteta, a young club on the rise, CL football, and a new challenge in the biggest league in the world.
- The opportunity to play upfront with Havertz, his countryman and partner on the German NT. The comfort of a familiar colleague and the opportunity to grow that partnership going into the WC could certainly have some appeal.
- Aside from the above, Havertz playing style (space invader, link-up play, selflessness) might be much more appealing to Musiala vs Haaland, who is pretty much the opposite. For a CAM with so much scoring potential, having a guy like Havertz opening up space and delivering layoffs would allow Musiala to shine more. Add to that MØ finding him between the lines, the presence of Saka drawing attention, and the likes of Rice cleaning up behind should be mouth-watering. Fitting in with Haaland and Foden on paper seems less appealing for a player like JM.
- Man City aren't a perfect destination. There's a good chance Pep leaves, they have potential penalties for financial violations, the squad is older and already has accomplished so much, it wouldn't be the same kind of challenge.
Why would Bayern part with JM?
- They wouldn't want to, but JM's relatively meager contract is up in 2026 and reports are that he has to this point turned down a new contract. If they were to sell, it makes sense to do it now rather than when he's going into his last year, especially if they aren't confident he'll sign a new contract.
- Bayern have currently Sane, Olise, Gnabry, Coman, and 19-year old Mathys Tel - all $40M players according to Transfermarkt. They will likely make sales but they also have reportedly pursued Xavi Simons and Désiré Doué.
- Perhaps MOST IMPORTANTLY, and something I haven't seen mentioned here, is the existence of Juliane Wirtz. Wirtz contract is up in 2027 and it's been reported that Bayern M will go after him next summer. Selling Musiala would open up a position in the forward line for Wirtz as well as bring in the cash it will take to buy him next summer.

if Richarlison worth 60 millions to the Saudis Jesus would worth more than Muhammed. If we can't sell Eddie, let's sell Jesus to a Saudi club instead. £50 million is a good fee.
Tell me you're an ABBA fan without telling me you're an ABBA fan.
Richarlison is CF starter for Brazil whil GJ keeps watching him score while he says "I am not the best scoring"... What a killer striker ain't it?if Richarlison worth 60 millions to the Saudis Jesus would worth more than Muhammed.
Ode
Merino Barella
Rice
Oh. My. God.
