Will we sign an attacker before the window closes?

Think Nketiah and Merino deals are connected. That’s why Merino deal takes so long.

Seems like we don’t really have money to spend this window for whatever reason.

Arteta emptied our finances, wasn't that common knowledge? Wenger's sacrifice of 2 decades wasted on this..

Either that or the pickpockets he hired took some extra pay.

And 27 million on Raya. We were already in trouble last window as we couldn’t sign Raya permanently. We are in a very tight place I believe
Tight likely because we close being in trouble regarding PSR but Eddie and ESR sales should help

I remember we were linked with him in may and he confirmed he want to stay but with all talent they have upfront real Madrid likely gonna let one player go either Arda Guler or Rodrygo.

Still Rodrygo will cost us lot of money unsure about this

Madrid signed him for £38M. I think they’d probably take something like £75M. Also think he’s worth it.

Wonder if the Rice deal ****ed us?
Nah, the Havertz deal was more detrimental. With Rice, we needed a DM to replace No. 5. Havertz isn't the Xhaka replacement we needed and he's not the superstar striker either. We are being punished for spreading ourselves too thin and not buying specialists for one role.

It would help if we sell nketiah. But he could become loan with obligation. Then he falls into next seasons books.
We'll see but I don't believe there problems we just looking for right profile that's why we not buying anyone who available

I don't think there are FFP problems. Fabrizio doesn't know anything about our finances, he probably just means it's more beneficial for FFP in general to structure a deal a certain way

Also wasn't there some random guy on Twitter who delved into our finances?

It is well known the referees are protected very well like the lions in the zoo so we have to live with their decisions
