Watching Leeds Blackburn today. Leeds American owners better be ready to invest heavily if they go up next year. Know they have a few injuries that starting eleven looks like relegation material.

It does seem that the best the current Championship clubs can hope for is to become a yo-yo club to at least keep the TV money flowing and build something long term. Every time you go down you basically have a two year window to go back up again.

The alternative is to spend crazy money and risk it all. Worked for Forest, but if it doesn't then you're in real trouble.

Funny thing is, the gap between Premier League and Championship also creates a gap within the Championship. It's undeniable that parachute clubs have a real advantage.

Big game coming up tonight. Reluctantly one must admit that Leeds are playing the best football in the Championship so far this season.

Just saw Burnley's defensive record, that's incredible. Parker does seem like a good Championship manager, wonder if he's just not good enough for the Prem or he's just been unlucky, hard to say.

It's a horrible watch though. I saw the Burnley - Leeds game, and it was dreadful. He is outpulising Pulis. I think that will dampen his attractiveness for Premier League clubs.

Seems this discussion is going on elsewhere as well.

There’s a reason I’ve had him as a top 4 manager when he was in the league.

He’s an innovator unlike many English managers that we’ve seen in the game today.

It's funny how similar the top 4 race in the Championship is to last year's promotion race. You have 3 parachute clubs and one club challenging them out of nowhere.

But unlike Ipswich last year I don't think Sunderland will be able to keep it up.

Leeds look like a juggernaut right now, so for 2nd place I think it will be between Sheff United who strengthened their squad in January and Burnley who are piling up clean sheets. Should be an interesting battle.

Would much rather we have some different teams thanks ****ing Sheffield Utd and Burnley getting promoted every other year to only go back down

Yeah, this was Leeds last big hurdle on their way to the title. Deserved it in the end. Their pressure was relentless.

Hope Sheffield United get automatics too, would like them back in the Prem.

Arsenal Quotes

A team can attack for too long. The most opportune time for scoring is immediately after repelling an attack, because opponents are then strung out in the wrong half of the field. All the men are expected to play to plan, but not so as to stifle individuality
