Wishing Bristol City the Very Best of Luck, in there Play Off Semi Final, against Sheffield United.
If Bristol City won the Play Offs, they would be the Premier Leagues Newest Member. Living in Gloucestershire, Bristol is just literally down the M5 from me.

I have been to Bristol City's Ashton Gate ground. They have recently done some ground works. It looks an Impressive Stadium. The Bristol Rugby Union Team also play there.

Our ex player, striker Andrew Cole signed for Bristol City from Arsenal. He then went onto sign for Newcastle United.

I just noticed that Marcus McGuane now plays for Bristol City too.

Everyone was surprised when he moved from us to Barcelona. I am sure that @MutableEarth knows of him a plenty.

Shame that Bristol City couldn't make it to playoff final. Seems like they were hard done by the ref with a red card + penalty against them. That is a massive mountain to climb.

Rooting for either one of coventry or bristol. Especially coventry, I've taken a liking to them since their FA Cup showing v Manure

Sheffield United against Bristol City was always the most straightforward tie of the two semi-finals. I mean, there was a 22 point gap between the two in the league.

Sunderland against Coventry is tougher to predict. Coventry haven't finished the season on great form, but Sunderland ended the season on a 5 game losing streak.
Really not sure what to make of Sunderland right now. Were they just resting for the playoffs, or are they genuinely **** right now? They were always in a tough spot with 4th place basically cemented since February and not much to play for since then. Can they flip the switch?
If I had to pick a winner in that tie, my money's probably on Coventry.

Does he just play similarly to his brother or is he a different type of midfielder?

Jude as a kid looked godlike as a passer and with the ball at feet.

Jobe isn’t as good there but can carry the ball well and has a good burst of pace. Kind of like Joe Willock a bit.

If Sunderland go to PL at least we'll have Sunderland Vs Newcastle again. But I expect Sheffield to go through
Hopefully Sunderland make it through.

At least you know they have a good stadium, lots of supporters, and may not drop straight back to Championship like you sure know Wilder's Sheffield will do.

Next season shouldn't be as embarrassing as this one for promoted clubs though, Wilder's Sheffield knows what it takes to stay, so does Burnley with that silly defensive record instead of having a manager playing tryouts for Bayern. They have also managers that no PL side should steal like it happened with Leicester and Maresca.

On this one we had a deluded team playing open football in Soton, a team that lost their way in Leicester and a team that invested with the clear intention to bounce back more than staying.

Sheffield United will be interesting if they go up. They have new ownership now and might be willing to invest more. Last time around they lost their best players in Ndiaye and Berge before the season even started. Was a lost cause from the start.

I don't have much trust in Wilder outcoaching Premier League managers though. In 2019 he had the perfect players for his system and caught the league by surprise with his overlapping centre-halves.
Nowadays it's more like "Give the ball to Hamer" or "lump it high to Kieffer Moore". Not sure he has what it takes anymore for the Premier League.

Yes, would be good to have the Newcastle United ⬜⬛ V Sunderland, 🟥⬜ Tyne / Wear derby.
