Unreal play-offs for Sunderland. The lad Watson will never need to buy a pint in the city ever again.

Enjoyed the Netflix documentary so it's nice for all those suffering fans who've seen them slide to have something to cheer for again.

Sunderland Till I Die season 2 is the best season of the documentary, and I felt Luke O'Nein came across as the most likeable player in it.

Considering he's pretty much the only one left from the show there, I would really like to see him take the club from League One to the Premier League...so hope Sunderland win.

Also would be quite funny to see Jobe "We have Bellingham at home"Bellingham play on the Prem before his brother too!
I do like football club documentaries, where there is trouble at the club. I watched the Sunderland documentary, I think it might have been season 1.
An interesting episode was the one concerning Jack Rodwell. Sunderland were in League One (I think) and Jack Rodwell was at the club, not playing (injured), being paid (I think) £50,000 a week. Club Staff were being made redundant, Sunderland were desperate to get Jack off the wage bill. Jack would turn up at the Training Ground, do some rehabilitation work, have lunch, then go home.
He seemed almost oblivious to the struggles that Sunderland were facing.

Always nice to see a club in the Premier League wearing the red and white stripes. Such a classic look.

Unless it's Stoke, of course. They ruin everything.
I might be wrong, don't think there has been a team that wears Red and White, that has been in the Premier League for a long period.
Southampton were an early member of the Premier League. They would fight the relegation odds, season after season. Eventually, they went down. Stoke City spent a while in the top flight. Sunderland have been up and down, and Sheffield United have had time in the Premier League. Of course there is Brentford now.
Just waiting for Exeter City to join the Premier League. 🟥⬜

This Jay Robinson for Southampton looks a good young player.

Lot's to improve on but looks for a key final pass, good dribbler etc.

Plays off the left too.

Coventry top of the Championship with a +20 goal difference after 9 games.

Fair play to Lampard. He's really cooking since he joined that club. Maybe there actually is a decent manager in there somewhere.

Arsenal Quotes

No one could have imagined for a single second that he would come to us. Only David Dein, Sol, his agent, and I knew what was going on. When I called a press conference to announce the arrival of a new player, and Sol Campbell walked into the room full of journalists, it was a bombshell.
