• To all AM members and guests.

For the start of the new season, Arsenal Mania has relaunched the news side of the site. All articles are written by genuine Arsenal fans with no hidden agenda. You can visit the site via the menu at the top of the forum pages or go direct to our homepage

Additionally, Arsenal Mania is now sending all its registered members a bi-weekly Briefing Bulletin containing a digest of news and views from both parts of the site. Some of you may have already received the first edition and those that haven't should do so before the big kick off against United. If you are a guest visitor to this forum then if you join as a member, you will automatically receive the Bulletin.

Please support both these initiatives and help ensure the long term future of our site.

Sheffield United looking decidedly agricultural under Wilder, still undefeated so far this season. Not very pleasing on the eye.....

Stuart McCall looks like he could have a stroke any minute...redder in the face than in the hair these days....

Sheff Utd vs WBA - lots of heart and effort, but as much as it pains me to say it, Leeds are playing better football than either of these sides.

Josh Maja should have stayed at Sunderland in 2019, think he would be an established lower half of the table Prem striker if he did.

I think Sheffield u will win the championship with Leeds 2nd
They made some really good moves in the summer and brought in some promising players. Their goalkeeper Cooper is probably the best keeper in the division.
I really like Burrows too. Great attacking leftback.

Their squad is a bit thin though. Lots of youth on the bench. But they have new ownership now, so it'll be interesting what they'll do in January.

Derby 0 Leeds 0

Derby with their first shot on target in the 62nd minute. Not pulling the skin off the sausage this match so far.

Watched a bit of the Blackburn game earlier to see Cozier-Duberry. He's settled quite well now, was probably Blackburn's most dangerous player. Protects the ball really well despite his size. Would like to see him be a little more decisive in final 3rd situations but he could have had a goal today were it not for a goal-line clearance.

Blackburn are in need of a striker though. Probably more than we are. If Khayon Edwards was a little more developed, I'd suggest he go there but I think that's a little too high level for him right now.

Arsenal Quotes

Arsenal was firmly embedded in the local community and had a very solid, working-class foundations. The fans espoused the club's values. This visceral attachment, from childhood, to a club and a team is something I have never seen anywhere else with such fervour. Every fan's first match at Highbury was like a baptism.
