A must win game. We have no complaints now. The NLD postponment has given us the much needed reprieve. We can now concentrate our efforts into ensuring we beat a knackered Liverpool who also have a must win game with Brantford tomorrow.

Let's ****ing smash cúnts so I can bask in another fighting **** meltdown.

Think we're pretty much going full strength here with no PL distraction.

People always care about the fairness of the competition when Arsenal is the subject. But when its another club everyone is silent, we call that bias. But if you care about fairness you have not been paying attention since this competition died when we allowed countries to effectively buy titles.
Bullshit people have been complaining about the inequities of football spending long before states have gotten involved indirectly. You don’t have a foot to stand on if that’s your argument.

We have to ensure this goes ahead even if Mari has to play in midfield.

Like others have said, I'd rather play this Liverpool with a weakened team tbh

BBC saying Partey could play in this.

Not sure, but could be the game changer for us if he does.

Hard to request a postponement in good faith when you’re loaning out multiple players and also releasing players from their contract. It makes you look like a dishonest bunch.
Let's look a little more in detail about this. We loaned out Maitland-Niles on the 8th of January. Our afcon contingent would soon be going away, but they would at most miss a few league games. The squad was otherwise in a fairly healthy state. The only injuries were ESR and Tomi. Both described as minor injuries so they would be back shortly. Balogun was let go a bit later, by then I think only Kola joined the injury list.

Maybe you can say we should have assumed the absolute worst case scenario and kept them but that is a lot different than accusing the club of being dishonest and cheating. Besides if the absolute worst case scenario happens like it did with us when we ended having more than a dozen players out at the same time through a combination of covid, injuries and a suspension then that is the time when you can make use of the postponement option. Something that is open to all clubs if they find themselves in such situations. Can't see at all where we have been dishonest in this case. Now we have released Kola if we do postpone a game then you can hold that against the club, as now, unlike when we loaned AMN and Balogun, we are a bit short on players but I think the fact we let him go means we are sure we have enough players back and have no intention of asking for any more postponements.

It’s a loophole being exploded that goes against the concept of fairness and affects the integrity of the competition.
I actually think if for example we turned up at the spuds with a team full of U23's, that would in my opinion go against fairness and especially integrity of the competition. If a team hasn't got the required players it is best to postpone than distort the competition by some teams getting unfairly a lot of points by playing depleted and uncompetitive sides. As long as everyone is judged on the same rules when it comes to postponement then that is the fairest way and no one is disadvantaged.

Absolute must win now, after that Sp**s result tonight.

Need some good vibes quickly, to forget Leicester's **** show.

Not to concerned about tomorrows game. Would be nice to reach the final but if we don't no big deal. At the end of the day it's the EFL cup. Sundays game is way more important.

Our next 5 PL games are Burnley (H), Wolves (A), Brentford (H), Watford (A) and Leicester (H). We need at least 13 points from these 5 games. Champions League next season is a must.
