Emile Smith Rowe: Arsenal Career on Death Rowe?

I feel really bad for Emile. Similar feelings, as back in the day with Wilshere. A young player who at one point in my opinion had more potential than Saka may well end his career at a young age.

I can't believe we would devalue him. He's a top attacking midfielder.
Don't forget, scored 10 goals before last season injury riddled campaign. Need to get him back into the rotation. Saka and Martinelli both get burn out, so we need to be rotating the wide positions with ESR and Trossard frequently.
Bro how did the club devalue him when he's been unfit for a whole season not contributing?

Hes basically a modern day version of Paul Merson, who played in a similar position & had similar style.

Hopefully without the booze, drugs, & gambling issues.
Merson was a baller, was excellent for Portsmouth under Redknapp too.

Gambling has destroyed his life financially.

What is it about Saka that people always discredit him lol there’s always some player that’s got a higher ceiling or is better for some reason.

My thing is I’ve never really rated ESR, he’s literally living off a small sample size. Antony Gordon was good for a little patch, I’m sure if we had him then some fans would be gassed and saying he had a higher ceiling than Saka.

He had a good 10 minutes yesterday with some nice link up play with Gibbs-White. He made a long run to get on the end of a tap in to put England up 2-0 in the 90th. I thought overall he looked sharp and fit.
