Yeah he looked exactly like someone who hasn’t been playing matches. Still glad to see both him and Nelson get a run out. The fact Mikel is giving him these minutes should be a boost. If he can prove himself in the cups he could be a very useful impact player.

He also nearly killed that move with an overcooked pass to Nelson. An ESR on confidence probably looks for the shot first. But who cares we scored after that so it worked out.

Good to see him back and he should be able to get 20 minutes a game over the next four weeks or so until he's a bit sharper
I think he’s a long way off forcing himself back into the reckoning but hopefully that game is the start of the journey to it.
