What are the addons? One injury free season or play more than 30 premier leagues a year? Seems unrealistic, hope there are some sell on clausules or at least buyback price.

Probably appearance-related. But could be a variety of things. Hope some of the boxes are easy to tick so 30m is somewhat guaranteed. Seems a fair price.

If he stays fit, it's a steal from Fulham.
27 million pounds and 7 add-ons? Cmon man. We sold Iwobi to them for like 30 million... His ''base'' sum is higher then ESR?

Actually we sold some ''youth'' players in the BPL which are doing quite ok. Willock @ Newcastle is a great shot and if he is fit, he plays great. Would have loved seeing him in that ''8'' role going forward. Had more defensive ability then ESR and Iwobi.

I like a lot of things about the kid but he doesn’t seem to be professional enough. He’ll be in Turkey in three years imo.

...shows you how great the Arsenal shirt makes players look, as Emile looks a solid two and a half years older in the Fulham one!

He's a bit of a throwback player which didn't help him, he's more of a Rosicky, Hleb combination player with quick feet, not the most robust/pacy player.

Between Vieira and ESR I'd rather we kept ESR, Vieira better start producing, he's had two seasons to find his feet, I think he has a dangerous final ball which may be his saving grace over ESR.
Fulham seem to play with a lot of combinations and pace down the sides. He will do very well for them once he get his bearings with players on the same wavelength

Think it's fair to say Gallas jinxed that number 10 shirt. It's ended badly for ESR, ended badly for Mesut, Wilshere's injuries got the better of him and there was a little boy trapped inside JVP.

We need a full exorcism of that shirt before bestowing it on the next unsuspecting soul.

Me in 2006...

"I can't wait to watch my club play in their brand new stadi..wait who's getting the number 10 shirt!?"

...really took the edge/excitement away from the Emirates straight away 😅

Nothing more than a half measure.

We need pentagrams, bloodfanes, a proper (fully stocked) international buffet & several, able-bodied, unwilling supplicants. For the latter I suggest Gallas, Edu & (in a pinch) Tets.

Once we appease the Dark Masters, we'll be fine.
