I like the Croydon Cruyff myself.

Hate naming him after a rival’s player. Parlour doesn’t look anything like Pele so shouldn’t be the criteria imo.
Didn't even have in mind that ESR looks like KDB.

Probably worse, Wilshere at least had a brief period of being healthy at the start and he somehow managed to become part of the team, but it's impossible to integrate ESR to our squad.
I hope he can get some minutes in EL this year, but any PL minutes look unlikely at this point.

Yeah I agree. Maybe a loan to a pl side might be best?

Quality wise, he would be a great addition for any bottom half club, but I doubt anyone would bother with his constant injuries. Huddersfield was willing to manage him simply because he was twice as good as any of their players, but PL is too competitive for that type of babysitting.
Even though he is my favourite academy player, I'm more confident each year that it's gonna be a Wilshere/Diaby type of career.
At least I'm gonna steal that Jack Wheelchair stuff, pure gold :D

Any news about Smith-Rowe?

I don’t know that he can afford a year of relative nothingness at this stage of his development. Prodigious talent in a precarious position.

11 days have passed now so should be available soon. The good thing is that the injury was to shoulder.

Only just got back in training so wont be playing any matches until after the international break. Not sure where we can fit him in anyway in the 3-4-3, a bit like Willock. Maybe wide but we already have too many players there.

but Holding’s hair transplant was painless
He can be Willian's back up left, right or centrally. Should be starting cup games and the easier home games.

His class will show.

Partey, Ceballos and Willian as the first picks, Xhaka, El Nenny/Guendouzi and ESR in reserve.

The pressure on this guy is gonna be ridiculous. He'll get the Nelson/Willock treatment within months.
Saka has pressure, he could go through a spell of it not going well him.

Why is it willock ,Nelson etc favoured? They have not delivered. Not saying esr is our saviour but play the lad the odd pl game against lesser opponents and in Europe etc.
