Leno and Martinez both good keepers but it's up to mikel and goal keeper coach to decide who want to keep the problem we don't have decent youth keeper to be backup for either of Emi or Leno

League is very weak
Emi should speak to Arteta though, and leave if he doesn’t get a guarantee for a start next season.

He’s too good to sit on the bench for a 6-8 place Arsenal.

Amazing people would rather sell a keeper who’s been consistently one of our top 3 players the past two years for someone who has played well for one month. If we’re selling one Martinez can get the **** out of here.

It’s not just a month, he was world class at Reading as well.

Why so serieuse?
Rate both Leno and Martinez equally. We don't need wc goalies when we have obvious holes to fill in the outfield. We should sell whoever we get the higher bid for.

but Holding’s hair transplant was painless
Really do not want to lose Martinez. He is a 15 -20m keeper now though, whereas he probably had a value of about 5m before Leno's injury.

Ideally we keep all 3 keepers, but if pressed, I'd rather sell leno.

Think people need to slow down here a little bit. Emi has been brilliant for us. I would argue better than Leno. He literally hasnt put a foot wrong and shows strengths at everything. Leno has a huge question mark over coming for high balls and corners.

Now what we dont want is to rush into selling one only for the other one to have a big drop in form or get a big injury. We only have to think back to that Brighton game. We were panicking thinking oh **** we need to buy a good keeper in the summer.

Martinez isnt world class. Nor is Leno. They are both very good keepers. But we need competition. What I dont want is sell one for 15-20m only to keep the wrong one and buy a back up at 10m. What's the point?

Is Matt Macey anyway ready to challenge for no.1?

United have De Gea and Romero (too good to be number 2 but has to accept his position).

Liverpool will possible sign a better number 2 after Adrian's **** shows when Allison was injured.

Football is competition. If neither Leno or Martinez is up to challenge one another and make the spot their own then they've picked the wrong profession.

They both signed contracts and are players of the club and unless we get big money for them I wouldnt be selling either. If they have to sit on the bench so be it. When we want to sell a player they say no I've got a contract here. Works both ways. If they want to leave and nobody is paying big money. Sorry you stay.

No player is too good to have to earn their place. We are really like charity FC. Gonna let one of our keepers go for 15m or so because hes too good to be number 2. That's ridiculous.

Not sure there’s too many top clubs that are after a GK now. Chelsea can **** off, nobody in Germany would pay a big fee, nobody in France, the Roma keeper looks awful so they could be an option but they’re cheap bastards.

Sp*rs are after one and are heavily linked to banter keeper Aaron Ramsdale.

Absolutely shocking market for keepers right now.

Hasnt put a foot wrong and is rightly number one until he ****s up.

Martinez is the one to keep. Homegrown and better with his feet and on crosses which is vital for a team that wants to play out from the back and that lack aerial power.

We 0nly have 30 M to spend in the summer. Let's keep our both GK, Leno as the average bench warmer, and lessen our worries this window.

Yeah, off the back of Emi's 5 good games we should sell our player of the season instead.

Even if Emi had world class potential, I wouldn't want to keep some unambitious clown who for almost a decade was happy to waste his career settling for collecting his wage instead of progressing his career. Exact kind of characters that have been bringing this club down.

Why should we sell any of Martinez and Leno? You need two good goalkeepers.

Let them compete against each other, make each other better. No need to go back to the Lehmann Almunia days.

And to Leeds...

It's a tricky one. From the club's perspective you don't want to lose him, he's playing great and he's a great character. To have the competition between him and Leno could be very beneficial.

But from his point of view, if Leno's gonna come back into the team and he sits on the bench and plays cup games, that's not good enough. What he's shown since lockdown is that this is a player who deserves to be playing every week in a major league. He's still young enough to make a fantastic career for himself, but it needs to start soon. If it's not here then it should be elsewhere. He needs to be a number 1.
