Glad to see MLS in the squad. LB is an area of weakness for England so I expect him to get some gametime.

I would have been disappointed for Nwaneri not getting in but Arteta said he was rested for us due to fatigue so not getting a call up here is good for him.

White is back in contention according to Tuchel. Wasn't picked due to just coming back from injury which is fair enough.

Henderson is a head scratcher though, been very good for England over the years but I can't help but feel he's there just to be an old head around the squad.

Felt Morgan Gibbs-White deserved a call up though.

Such a disappointing first squad by Tuchel. Another England manager going for older big name players instead of the inform players.

Henderson - I didn't rate him in his prime, he was a clogger and modern day David Batty. Henderson is spent now and should be nowhere near this squad. Picking Henderson over Bayen and Madrid linked Wharton is criminal!

Eze & Folden - Have been absolutely dog ****e this year and shouldn't be in the squad.

James has hardly played in 2 seasons

Solanke or Rashford over Watkins is absolutely mental.

I'm glad MLS, Jones, Rodgers, Livramento, Burn and Konsa all got selected.

What’s wrong with Palmer in the England squad?

Going through a poor period of form in terms of GA but still very respectable numbers for the season and the underlying stats are still there.
Been **** for a hot minute plus he's not a midfielder.

Henderson and Walker in the squad is the type of crime you'd expect with Tuchel in charge. Still horrendous picks but not that surprising IMO.

Rogers emerging as a proper quality player makes the midfield interesting. I think a trio of Rice/Bellingham/Rogers could do some work.

Branthwaite deserved a call-up, especially with Stones out.

Can't wait for Tuchel to lose it with Foden in training and reproduce this:

Still confused at Henderson, and it’s not an ageism thing. Modric, for example is playing at a high enough level, not sure I can say the same for Henderson.

Anyone actually see the U/21 line up? ****ing hell it's stacked, would give most PL teams a battering imo

Arsenal Quotes

I believe one of the best things about managing people is that we can influence lives in a positive way. That’s basically what a manager is about. When I can do that, I am very happy.
