First - i don't know if this is the right thread for this.

It's about the topic "Super League" - it probably will need a own thread in the future.

There is another "Football Leaks" article from "Der Spiegel" in Germany. It looks like the "Super League" with 16 teams is more realistic than ever.
The article says, that Bayern already checked an exit out of the Bundesliga.

Here is the german article:

English translations will follow surely in the next time (hours, days).

Arsenal would be one of the 11 founders in the League, who can't relegate. Together with Bayern, Barca, Real, United, Chelsea, City, Liverpool, PSG, Juve and Milan.

The first 5 "guests" would be Atletico, Dortmund, Marseille, Inter and AS Rom. A second league is also possible, where only these 5 clubs could relegate.

Everything could begin 2021...

The PL's quality and standing among other top leagues would rapidly go down the sh*tter if this was implemented. Terrible idea that just reeks of nationalism.
as did the Brexit vote - it would be highly ironic if people who voted for Brexit opposed this proposal

Don't think it reeks of nationalism it's aimed towards pushing clubs to develop. Mass develop. The final plan will look much different to this if it's implemented at all.

Feel for Jokanovic, he really did well last year although this year he’s seemed out of his depth defensively.

I think they’d have fared better building around the squad that took them up last year. Distinct style of play with high quality passing play.

Don’t get why you take that team and spend 100M on players like Schurle. Was always a poor fit.

Season should’ve been about Sessegnon but you can tell his confidence is down.
