Everton call a media conference for 4pm today at which Roberto Martinez will be confirmed as their new manager.

Over the past 4 seasons, Martinez only spent £4m less than Moyes did at Everton

Hardly a fair comparison though as I'm sure that does not include wages.

Most club can spend some millions here and now, the problem is paying 40k+ a week.

Moyes also had a foundation, a huge home advantage, hoofball tactics and a bigger pull of players

'Every year, I am improving and getting better and better, but I want to be even more effective,’ he said, ahead of Belgium’s game with Serbia. ‘My dream is 50 or even 60 goals like Messi and Ronaldo. They have shown it is possible, so maybe I can do the same.

Does anyone think the little kunt can do it?

I don't think anyone can hit those sort of numbers in the Premier League but I do think he may have a Bale like season.

Think he can get around 20-25, no chance he's getting those type of figures in the PL.

Wonder if he'll be a contender for the Real job if he does leave.

Im not sure. He won't go up against the players like Mourinho did, having the dressing room and the powerful personalities within it, on side, will give Laudrup a good shot at the job. Laudrup's style of play and classy personality will win over the fan's too.

Been linked with the job for a few years and now with the trend of bringing younger managers in, maybe Real will try that. That said though, Carlo Ancellotti seems a good fit and he is fave for the job atm.

Never, infact I was more impressed with someone like Gio Dos Santos than I was Hazard. He rarely looks like the player he did in France

Don't like that Bale plays for Manure, nice scenario otherwise, Rooney scoring a bicycle kick own goal sounds great.

Thought some of his comments were interesting, he said the target for all the top clubs next season is to finish top four before thinking about the title, said Arsenal are on the way back up, that along with Fergie saying we're building a better squad than people think makes me believe we will splash the cash this summer.
